Who is Damon Tindall and Online Business Entrepreneurs

Hello my name is Damon Tindall and I am the CEO and Founder of Online Business Entrepreneurs. Damon’s Background

I grew up in a small country town in a country New South Wales, Australia. I moved to a Newcastle, which is beautiful coastal city about two hours north of Sydney 16 years ago to study teaching at the University of Newcastle. The Newcastle lifestyle appealed so much that I have come to call Newcastle home for much of that time. Upon finishing my teaching degree, I decided that my real passion was for business and upon studying a Masters in Business I decided to pursue my future as a business entrepreneur. During my final period of study I began to engage with entrepreneurial authors; such as Richard Branson, Robert G. Allen and Donald Trump. However, there was one author and book that had a greater impact upon me than all others and that was Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant. The principles outlined in this book really seemed to hold a tune with me, as I truly desired to be in control of how, where and when I worked. In the few short years I had already had the experience of being an employee and also being a self-employed business owner working with fitness clients and these experiences taught me that within these two types of employment we have little control over the two variables which many of us value most. Those two variables are how we spend our time and how we employ our productive efforts. If I truly wanted to live life on my terms and not someone else’s I had to follow Robert Kiyosaki’s recommendation to find or develop a business system that would allow me to leverage both my time and efforts, with the goal of building up multiple streams of passive or residual income. This is the type of income that pays you many times over from a single effort and continues to flow whether you are working or holidaying on the Grand Cayman Islands.

I started off in Network Marketing as I saw it was a way that I could plug into an easy-to-duplicate system without previously having a great deal of prior marketing experience and without the enormous expense of having to develop my own business and marketing systems. While I strongly considered Franchising, as an option given the likelihood of success the enormous investment required to start and also the significant risk of again spending more time working in the business as another employee rather than working on the business as a business owner; was enough for me to seek other options.

After two years of consistent part-time effort in my Network Marketing Business, I had managed to replace my full-time income by more-or-less, working full-time on my livelihood (with a job) and part-time on building my fortune (through the income generated through my business). Over the last few years of my life I have used many of the principles that I learnt through the early part of my Networking Marketing career and applied many of the same principles in developing and building business systems that have largely been underpinned by the potential to develop multiple streams of passive income. This has positioned me where now have both financial security but also the freedom to choose when I work or when I holiday. By having the foresight to find a business system that allowed me to start part-time with the potential to develop a significant longer-term residual income I now am able to enjoy much more time following my other passions of travel, sport and spending valuable time with friends and family. When you put into perspective that we only have on average 4000 weeks on this earth, I fail to see why anyone would consciously choose to spend on average 2000 weeks of your life working on someone else’s fortune, rather than your own!!

Recently a good buddy of mine Brenton put this debate in to perspective when he said ‘we have two choices and that is to choose to have an ordinary life or an extraordinary life’ and I know which path I have chosen to follow. How about you? Think about where your life is now and where you would like to be in five years time. It is a fact of life that if we change nothing, than nothing changes!! In my opinion it is easy if you keep taking the same actions, you cannot expect different results, however if you change your present and future actions than you can expects to achieve a different result in the future.

Damon’s current and most exciting online business project

Over the last 12 months I have begun working with a number of first time online business owners, as well as some very successful online business entrepreneurs on one of the most exciting business projects that I have seen in my time in business.

This project is based around tying together three very powerful converging business trends of Social Media, Online Entertainment and ecommerce. In the process this company will reshape consumer’s online shopping habits and entertainment choices just as the likes of Walmart and Costco did in the traditional bricks and mortar retail business world and ecommerce giants Amazon, EBay, Dell, Apple and Google have done in the virtual world.

The timing of this business opportunity also stood out to me as being unique, as it would be similar to being positioned in the early stages of eBay, Amazon, Google or ITunes and having the ability to create a transactional income from the billions of sales generated across each of these respective companies customer bases and then also being able to turn this into a compounding residual income stream as each of these customers told their friends about their positive and exciting customer experiences and getting paid for each referral sales too.
